Hello!
My name is Demetrius Kazanas and I am currently a Graduate Student at Endicott College in Beverly, MA. I am from Leonia, NJ, and I am available for freelance work in both the North Shore of MA and in the NY Metropolitan Area. I am also a First Place Award Recipient of the 2021/22 Boston Press Photographers Association after being awarded the top photo in the College Sports Category.
I am a Sport Management Major with a Minor in Photography and am interested in both Sports Photography and Event Photography. I have covered athletes on numerous levels including Division I, III, Summer Collegiate, and Minor League Baseball Leagues, and I have worked events such as Proposals, Road Races, Birthday Parties, and much more.
In addition to this website, I showcase my work on my Instagram Account @photosbydemetrius. I am always looking to expand my photography, and am excited to continue to work. I am regularly featured on my Endicott athletic department website ECGulls and on their Instagram Account @ECGulls. For my freelance work, my clients have included: Richmond Athletics, Staten Island Yankees, Detroit Mercy Athletics, Brown Athletics, St. Peters Athletics, American U. Athletics, Sacred Heart Athletics, Siena Athletics, Army West Point Athletics, and the MAAC Conference. For the MAAC Conference, I have covered events for them such as their 2022 Basketball & Baseball Playoff Tournaments.
I have also been featured in Publications such as Newsweek about Marika Lyszczyk who was the first Female NCAA Catcher. I was recently had a photographed of mine featured in an ESPN article covering Detroit Mercy star basketball player Antonie Davis. I was also featured by NCAA on their Instagram which was about Endicott's Men's LAX Shaving their Heads for Cancer. I have also had my work featured in The Salem News.
